Kawai AnyTime ATX3L is a hybrid solution for compatible Kawai acoustic pianos that combines acoustic and silent digital performance. A hammer shank stopper is engaged via the middle pedal, preventing the hammers from striking the strings and allowing performance to be heard through headphones.

IHSS optical sensor system

Non-contact optical sensors track the movement of the keys and hammers with high precision. Since the sensors do not exert physical resistance on the mechanical action, the natural touch of the acoustic piano is preserved.

Progressive Harmonic Imaging sound

The PHI sound engine uses 88-key stereo sampling from the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and Kawai EX concert grands. 192-note polyphony and 19 instrument sounds provide sufficient capabilities for solo piano practice, silent lessons, and performances with a variety of timbres.
