ANT. PETROF 126 is the more compact entry model of the premium ANT. PETROF family. Based on the same keyboard and mechanical ratios as the AP 136, it produces a precise touch and a rich, romantic tone within a 126.3 cm cabinet.
ANT. PETROF premium line and the PETROF sound character
PETROF's piano manufacturing tradition, continuing in the Czech Republic since 1864, focuses on creating a soft, rounded, and romantic tone through resonance spruce, model-specific string scaling, and individual voicing. Within the ANT. PETROF premium line, the ANT. PETROF 126 offers bass depth appropriate for its height, a singing middle register, and clear treble.
Resonance spruce soundboard
The resonance spruce soundboard with an active area of 1.112 m² is reinforced by 10 ribs. The profile of the soundboard is designed to translate string vibrations into a wide dynamic range and balanced register transitions. The wet sand-cast iron frame, multi-layered pinblock, and maple bridges maintain string tension to support tuning stability.
Action and keyboard
The Renner–ANT. PETROF action and Renner hammer heads ensure fast and precise transmission of touch. The 88 keys create a natural feeling of resistance from bass to treble. The left soft pedal softens the tone, the middle moderator pedal reduces volume for quiet practice, and the right sustain pedal lifts the dampers to release resonance.
Construction and daily use
Röslau steel strings, a solid wooden back frame, and a hydraulic soft-close keyboard lid create a reliable structure for long-term teaching and practice. The minimal and noble cabinet highlights premium materials; the proportions are adapted to fit modern interiors.
