Within the ANT. PETROF premium line, the ANT. PETROF 136 offers bass depth commensurate with its height, a singing middle register, and a clear treble.
Resonant spruce soundboard
The resonant spruce soundboard, with an active area of 1.2039 m², is reinforced by 11 ribs. The soundboard profile is designed to translate string vibrations into a wide dynamic range and balanced register transitions. The wet-sand cast iron plate, multi-layer pinblock, and maple bridges maintain string tension to support tuning stability.
Action and keyboard
The Renner–ANT. PETROF action and Renner hammer heads ensure fast and precise touch transmission. The 88 keys create a natural sensation of resistance from bass to treble. The left piano pedal softens the tone, the middle moderator pedal reduces volume for silent practice, and the right forte pedal raises the dampers to release resonance.
Construction and daily use
Röslau steel strings, a solid wood back frame, and a hydraulic soft-close fallboard create a reliable structure for long-term teaching and practice. The two-stage top lid and split upper frame allow for the regulation of sound projection into the space; the monumental cabinet is designed for professional interiors.
