ANT. PETROF 275 is the 275 cm flagship concert grand piano of the PETROF family. Created after five years of development and two years of testing, this model offers powerful projection for large stages, rich bass, resonant treble, and a wide tonal range.

ANT. PETROF — A premium line dedicated to the legacy of Antonín Petrof

The ANT. PETROF brand was created on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of PETROF in honor of the company's founder, Antonín Petrof. The grand pianos in this series combine the manual work of the most experienced craftsmen, selected European materials, and patented construction solutions formed over a long development process. The goal is to present PETROF's romantic, round tone with greater projection, a wide color palette, and precise mechanical response.

Diaphragmatic resonance spruce soundboard

The solid resonance spruce soundboard with 1.880 m² of active area is CNC-machined to a diaphragmatic profile with a thickness of 9.5–6.5 mm. 16 asymmetrical ribs balance the elasticity in different zones of the soundboard. This structure creates a clear fundamental tone in the bass, rich color in the middle register, and long sustain in the treble.

Premium construction and string system

The wet sand-cast iron frame, high-density pinblock, solid maple bridges, and selected inner rim materials keep string tension stable. Röslau steel strings and Degen copper windings, gold-plated copper agraffes, and a front-rear duplex system refine harmonic richness and transitions between registers. The Canadian hard-rock maple pinblock and premium multi-layered rim are designed to withstand the high string tension of a large concert grand piano.

Renner action and individual voicing

Renner action and Renner hammer heads are regulated for fast repetition, subtle dynamics, and reliable control. Spruce keys are individually balanced; the touch weight is naturally graduated from bass to treble. Ebony black keys, and una corda, sostenuto, and sustain pedals meet all the expressive requirements of professional repertoire.
