The BOSS PH-3 Phase Shifter pedal offers a wide range of vintage and modern phasing effects, including unique, unidirectional phasing with new “Rise” and “Fall” modes. Synchronizing these phasing effects is simple – simply tap the pedal at the desired tempo, and an expression pedal lets you control the PH-3’s Rate , Filter and Tempo parameters in real time.

“Rise” and “Fall” Effects
In addition to the standard up and down loops, the new PH-3 Infinite Phaser can create sound patterns that move only up or down. There are also 4-, 8-, 10- and 12-stage phasing effects and a Step effect.
