The VO-1 plugs into your performance system like any other pedal. Simply plug in a microphone to use Vintage, Advanced, and Talk Box modes. Then activate the effect, adjust the knobs, and add vocals into the microphone as you play. You don't necessarily have to be a singer to expand your vocal range—it applies your voice to your guitar sound in real time. The pedal also features a Blend button that lets you mix the vocoder sound with your regular guitar tone.
