According to official Cort information, the CR200 features an all-mahogany body, set-neck construction, and a Cort Voiced Tone VTH-59 pickup set, delivering a vintage PAF-inspired, warm, and powerful humbucker tone.

The mahogany body and mahogany neck make the mid-frequencies more focused, while the set-neck construction increases sustain and resonance. This model is highly suitable for rock riffs, blues solo phrases, worship, pop-rock, and classic drive tones.
