Millennium III Hybrid grand piano action

The 88-wooden key Millennium III Hybrid action is based on the design principles used in Kawai's acoustic grand pianos. Graded ABS hammers, long key sticks, and IHSS non-contact optical sensors capture the speed and subtle dynamics of the performance without altering the mechanical feel. A real grand piano damper mechanism makes the pedal resistance and resonance behavior more natural.

SK-EX Rendering sound engine

SK-EX Rendering combines multi-channel sampling and resonance modeling to deliver the timbre of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano. The alternative HI-XL sound engine, 256-note polyphony, and 90 instrument sounds create extensive possibilities ranging from classical repertoire to ensemble and creative practice.
