The resonance spruce soundboard with 1.0605 m² of active area is reinforced with 9 ribs. The profile of the soundboard is designed to translate string vibrations into a wide dynamic range and balanced register transitions. The wet sand-cast iron frame, multi-layer pinblock, and maple bridges maintain string tension to ensure tuning stability.
Action and keyboard
The PETROF upright action and individually voiced hammer heads ensure fast and precise touch transmission. The 88 keys create a natural sense of resistance from bass to treble. The left piano pedal softens the tone, the middle moderator pedal reduces volume for silent practice, and the right forte pedal raises the dampers to release resonance.
Construction and daily use
Röslau steel strings, a solid wooden back frame, and a hydraulic soft-close fallboard create a reliable structure for long-term teaching and practice. The high-gloss white finish, patinated carved elements, and Rococo proportions give each instrument an individual decorative character.
