The wet-sand cast iron plate, multi-layer pinblock, and maple bridges maintain string tension, supporting tuning stability.

Action and keyboard

The PETROF upright action and individually voiced hammer heads serve to transmit touch quickly and accurately. The 88 keys create a sense of natural resistance from bass to treble. The left piano pedal softens the tone, the middle moderator pedal reduces volume for silent practice, and the right forte pedal releases the dampers for resonance.
