Construction and stringing system

The wet-sand-cast iron plate bears high string tension. A multi-layer beech pinblock, beech-maple inner rim, and solid maple bridges work together for resonance transmission and tuning stability. Röslau steel strings, Degen copper windings, copper agraffes for keys 1–53, and a front-rear duplex system refine the harmonic structure.

The PETROF, RENNER ORIGINAL, or RENNER–PETROF action provides fast repetition, delicate control in pianissimo, and stable response in loud dynamics. Premium German hammer heads are individually voiced. Tangentially cut spruce keys are balanced individually, while ebony black keys provide a natural and durable surface. Unacorda, sostenuto, and sustain pedals create full expressive possibilities for the classical grand piano repertoire.
