PETROF's romantic sound philosophy

PETROF continues the tradition of European piano manufacturing established in the Czech Republic since 1864. The resonant spruce, model-specific string scale, and individual hammer voicing for each instrument create a soft, rounded, and singing tonal character. The sand-cast iron plate bears high string tension. The multi-layer beech pinblock, beech-maple inner rim, and solid maple bridges work together for resonance transmission and tuning stability. Premium German hammer heads are individually voiced. Tangentially cut spruce keys are balanced individually, while ebony black keys offer a natural and durable surface.
