VAD307 V-Drums Acoustic Design is a professional electronic drum kit that stands out with its compact dimensions while maintaining the feel of a full acoustic drum set. This module simulates realistic acoustic behavior with highly detailed multi-sampled drum and cymbal sounds, a wide dynamic range, and Prismatic Sound Modeling technology. Users can choose from 70 preset kits, customize sounds with new effects and compression/reverb parameters, and download additional kits and sample packs via Roland Cloud.

The VAD307 features a 12-inch snare, two 10-inch rack toms, a 12-inch floor tom, and an 18-inch kick pad, creating a spacious and comfortable playing area. Mesh head technology provides realistic drum rebound, while the kick drum simulates the air pressure feel of an acoustic response. New generation thin-profile crash and ride cymbals offer more natural movement, a realistic "swing" feel, and an edge-choke function, with the ride cymbal supporting three-zone triggering with bow, edge, and bell zones.

The Bluetooth audio function allows users to connect music from a phone or computer for practice, while the built-in Coach mode provides interactive training tools for rhythm, timing, and technique development.
